House Weltmann

The Weltmann house is located in Bremen , Oberneuland district , Rockwinkeler Heerstraße 119. The villa was built in 1913 according to plans by Hans Haering. It has been a listed building in Bremen since 2003 .

history

In 1913, the two-storey, plastered, white house with a hipped roof for Consul Carl Weltmann was built in the reform style at the turn of the century . From 1920 to 1922 it was converted into a two-family house. The rear extension was increased according to designs from the construction company H. Nordmann for FW Siebold and the chicken house. The garage with four parking spaces dates from 1948 according to plans by Heinz-Georg Rehberg for the Walter Bühner company.

Today (2018) the residential building, which was rebuilt in 2004, is located in a park-like garden with a rear annoying annex and large bay windows and is part of the Casa Vita Oberneuland Central Office for Private Welfare , which manages 33 senior citizen apartments on the site.
