The Isca Valley is a narrow and ice-free valley in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the Britannia Range , it is 3 km east-northeast of Haven Mountain, immediately west of the Ituna Valley .
A team of New Zealand geologists from the University of Waikato , who carried out surveys in this area between 1978 and 1979, named the valley based on the name of the River Exe in Roman times .
