House at the swan pond
The house on the Schwanenteich is a listed residential building in Lutherstadt Wittenberg in Saxony-Anhalt .
It is located north of the old town of Lutherstadt Wittenberg on the east side of the street Am Schwanenteich at the address Am Schwanenteich 1 . Lutherstrasse runs north, and the building was built on the courtyard side of the local development. To the west is the swan pond . Refugee ship No. 653 is on the opposite side of the street.
The house was built around 1930 as the home of a doctor and practice. It is considered an example of the Heimat style in the design typical of the region.
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a historical building under registration number 094 35497 .
