The Haus zum Einhard is a half-timbered building in Seligenstadt in the Offenbach district in Hesse . It stands out with its particularly rich half-timbered decoration and the Rhenish corner bay window and is an eye-catcher at the transition from Marktplatz to Aschaffenburger Straße for large inner-city areas. The building originally consists of two gable-end houses. The construction of the massive ground floor can be dated to 1596. Above that, sitting on profiled stone consoles, is the cantilevered half-timbered upper floor , which was combined under a hipped roof around 1700 . In the bay room there is a very elaborately crafted stucco ceiling .
