Wooden relief by Roman Anton Boos

The Haus zur Hundskugel is an old Munich town house. It is located in Munich's old town in the Hackenviertel at Hackenstrasse 10. The four-story building was created in 1741 through a renovation, probably by Johann Michael Fischer . Here lived u. a. the sculptors Johann Baptist Straub and Roman Anton Boos . The building is registered as a monument in the list of monuments of the Free State of Bavaria .

The house gets its name from its house sign, a wooden relief by Roman Anton Boos that shows six dogs playing with a ball.

The Haus zur Hundskugel should not be confused with the also listed Gasthaus zur Hundskugel , three houses down on the corner of Hotterstrasse , which was operated from 1440 to 2011.
