Archeoskanzen Havránok (full name Archaeological Open-Air Museum NKD Liptovská Mara - Havránok ) is located above the Liptov reservoir in northern Slovakia . The open-air museum is located about two kilometers south of the village of Bobrovník in Okres Liptovský Mikuláš .

When the Liptovská Mara reservoir was built, systematic archaeological research began in the affected area in the 1960s.

Archaeologists managed to uncover important finds from the Iron Age (300–100 BC).

There are a fortified settlement of Celtic strain of Cotini with a Druids - sanctuary discovered in its vicinity and six smaller villages.

The original native population settled Havránok as early as the 4th century BC. The peculiar Puchau culture arose through their merging with Celtic tribes . The research revealed a sacrificial altar with sacrificial shaft, stone pathways with colonnade and Celtic imitation of ancient coins.

The uninterrupted settlement on the Havránok lasted until the 2nd century AD. Traces of Germanic settlers were discovered here and later the presence of the Slavs .

Around the 12th century AD, a feudal castle with wooden fortifications was built on the top of the hill.

Some buildings - the druid sanctuary, ovens, the bridge, parts of the fortifications, residential towers and the courtyard - and various objects have been partially restored and are now part of the archaeological open-air museum.

In 1967 the Havránok Open-Air Museum was declared a national cultural monument, and it is now under the administration of the Liptov Museum in Ružomberok .
