The Communauté de communes du Pays Calaisien is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Sarthe in the region Pays de la Loire . It was founded on December 23, 1994 and comprised 14 parishes. The administrative seat was in Saint-Calais .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, the association of municipalities merged with six municipalities of the dissolved Communauté de communes du Val de Braye and thus formed the successor organization Communauté de communes des Vallées de la Braye et de l'Anille . The remaining parishes joined the Communauté de communes du Pays de l'Huisne Sarthoise .
