Bobrovník (Hungarian Bobrovnik ) is a municipality with around 130 inhabitants in northern Slovakia . It is located on the bank of the Liptov reservoir , about 18 km from Ružomberok and 16 km from Liptovský Mikuláš .
Administratively, the municipality also includes the villages of Tvarožná (incorporated in 1913) and Hliník (incorporated after 1808). Nežitovce and Sestrč also belonged to the municipality , which were incorporated after 1882 and went under in the Liptov reservoir.
The place was first mentioned in writing as Hodaz in 1273 . The archaeological site Havránok , a Celtic hill fort , located two kilometers from the site.
