Haworth, Inc. is a US-American furniture manufacturer based in Holland, Michigan .
history
The family business, which is now in the third generation of the family, began manufacturing school and office furniture in 1948. At the end of the 1980s, the owner family decided to expand internationally. As a result, companies were taken over in numerous countries. Haworth employs over 7,000 people worldwide and has a sales structure in 120 countries. The company has its own factories on three continents. In Europe, the company produces in Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland.

In September 2013 it was announced that the Ahlen production site was to be closed at the end of 2014 and the Bad Münder site was to be restructured.

The Haworth range includes all types of office furniture as well as a large selection of chairs for a wide variety of purposes. Haworth works with numerous well-known designers. The company attaches great importance to sustainability. The flagship product, the Zody_System 89 chair system, consists of 51% recycled material, the materials are 98% recyclable. All Haworth manufacturing plants are certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001.
