Haworthia glauca is a species of the genus Haworthia in the subfamily of the Affodilla family (Asphodeloideae).

Haworthia glauca grows trunk-forming and sprouting. The numerous upright or inwardly curved leaves form a rosette with a diameter of up to 8 centimeters. The glauk- gray-green leaf blade is up to 6 inches long and 1.5 inches wide. There are no warts on the rough leaf surface.

The simple or occasionally branched inflorescence reaches a length of up to 30 centimeters. The upside-down flower tube is curved and the tepals are rolled back.

Systematics and distribution

Haworthia glauca is common in the South African province of Eastern Cape .

The first description by John Gilbert Baker was published in 1880. Nomenclatory synonyms are Haworthia reinwardtii subsp. glauca (Baker) Halda (1997) and Haworthia reinwardtii var. glauca (Baker) Halda (1997).

A distinction is made between the following varieties :
