The Hawtai B21 , also Hawtai E70 or Hawtai E80 , is a mid-range sedan from the Chinese automaker Hawtai that is positioned below the B11 .

history

The vehicle debuted as a concept vehicle at the Beijing Auto Show and has been on sale since March 18, 2013. Since March 2016, the model has also been available as a Hawtai iEV230 electric car .

Technical specifications

Either a 100 kW (136 PS) strong 2.0-liter petrol engine , a 103 kW (140 PS) 1.5-liter petrol engine or - rather unusual for Chinese cars - 68 kW (92 PS) takes over the drive. powerful 1.5 liter diesel engine . Both variants can optionally be equipped with a 4- speed automatic transmission .

An 80 kW (109 PS) electric motor is used in the iEV230 . According to the NEDC , Hawtai states that the electric range is up to 310 km.
