The Hawtai B11 is the first self-developed car from the Chinese manufacturer Rongcheng Hawtai Automobile , which previously acted as a contract manufacturer for Hyundai Motor Company .
There are two motors to choose from for the B11. The 1.8-liter gasoline engine has a turbocharger and thus achieves 118 kW. The torque is 218 Nm. The stated consumption of 8.9 or 9.3 l / 100 km is very high for this performance - especially since the Chinese figures otherwise tend to be very low. There is also a 2-liter turbo diesel, which comes from VM Motori . The power is 110 kW, the torque 210 Nm. Both engines are state-of-the-art in terms of performance, but have a significantly lower torque than engines from Volkswagen . An automatic transmission is available for both engines. The car meets the Euro IV emissions standard .
The B11 is placed in China as a higher-quality car, so the standard equipment is equivalent to western standards (numerous airbags , ABS, ESP, air conditioning , electric windows) or even goes beyond that (leather seats, xenon headlights, navigation system ).
