The Hazard rock (of English hazard , Gefahrt, risk venture ' ) is a 1 m high cliff rock in front of the Danco Coast of Graham lands north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 4 km northeast of Cape Renard on the east side of the Butler Passage from the sea.
Lieutenant Commander Frank William Hunt (* 1922) of the Royal Navy named him during the 1952 survey. It is named after the fact that the rock poses a danger to ships that pass through the Butler Passage.
