Hazim Fouad

Hazim Fouad (* 1984 ) is a German scholar of Islam , book author and intelligence analyst.

Career

Fouad studied English / American and Oriental / Islamic studies at the Ruhr University in Bochum , in Cairo and London . In 2019 he received his doctorate in Islamic Studies on the subject of contemporary Muslim criticism of Salafism at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel . He was employed by the British Institute for Strategic Dialogue and has been a research assistant at the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution in Bremen since 2011 . Together with Behnam Timo Said , he is the editor of the book Salafism: In Search of True Islam .
