Headstone Epitaph is a German power metal band from Mosbach .
history
Headstone Epitaph from Mosbach was founded in 1987 as "Headstone". With the demo album Welcome in 1993, the band attracted attention for the first time with a sound carrier. In 1997, Headstone Epitaph signed their first record deal with Noise Records .
In 1998 the album Wings of Eternity was released , which was followed by a successful tour through Germany with the progressive rock band Arena . After the release of the album Powergames , Headstone Epitaph u. a. as support for Manowar and Metallica at European festivals such as B. the Gods of Metal Festival in Italy .
After this festival, the band breaks out of a crisis. In 2007 Headstone Epitaph celebrated their stage comeback at the Römersee Festival and at two successful club shows in Switzerland .
