Heaphy Spur is a distinctive, curved and 6 km long mountain ridge in East Antarctic Victoria Land . From the south side of the Clare Range it extends into the head end of the Upper Victoria Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1947 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1975 after the New Zealander William Heaphy, who had worked for ten years at the United States Antarctic Research Program was involved.
