Heart Skips a Beat is a song by Olly Murs , together with Rizzle Kicks , from the album In Case You Didn't Know . The song was released on August 19, 2011 and became a number one hit in Germany , Poland , Switzerland and the UK . The song, written by Alex Smith, Samuel Preston, Jim Eliot and Rizzle Kicks, is Murs' most successful single to date. It is his first song in which he did not write the lyrics himself.

Music video

The music video lasts 3 minutes and 22 seconds and was released on YouTube on July 15, 2011. The music video shows Murs in a skateboard park in Mile End with Rizzle kicks and a huge record player. He partly dances on it.
