Rizzle Kicks is a British hip-hop - Duo from Brighton . It was founded in 2008 by the two musicians Jordan "Rizzle" Stephens (born January 25, 1992 in London ) and Harley "Sylvester" Alexander-Sule (born November 23, 1991 in London). Her style combines elements of pop with the hip-hop style from the late 1980s / early 1990s.

Career

The two musicians were born in London and met through their families at the age of four. Over time, they lost touch and moved independently to Brighton. There they were reunited by various coincidences at the age of eleven when they met at a soccer game. They attended the BRIT School and began to record their first mixtapes with rap using samples of their favorite musicians. With the help of a friend, music videos were made. Her debut album Stereo Typical was released on October 31, 2011 .

A first single was released in May 2011, with the second single Down with the Trumpets , Rizzle Kicks first hit the British charts. The single Heart Skips a Beat was recorded together with Olly Murs .

The second album Roaring 20s was released in September 2013. On the album Head Up High by Morcheeba , which was released in October 2013, the Rizzle Kicks worked on the song To Be .
