Heather McLean (born January 4, 1993 in Winnipeg ) is a Canadian speed skater .

Career

McLean made his debut in Calgary in November 2013 in the Speed ​​Skating World Cup and took 32nd place over 1000 m in Group B. In the 2014/15 season she reached 22nd place in the 2 × 500 m race at the 2015 World Single Distance Championships in Heerenveen and 23rd place at the World Sprint Championships in Astana . In January 2015 she became Canadian 500 m champion. She had her first start in the A World Cup at the beginning of the 2015/16 season in Calgary. She achieved 19th place over 1000 m and achieved her first podium finish in the A World Cup with third place in the team sprint. In the further course of the season she came in third place over 500 m three times and thus took sixth place in the overall World Cup over 500 m. In January 2016 she won the Canadian Championships over 1000 m.
