Heavatar is a German power metal band.
Band history
Heavatar was founded as a project in 2012 by Van Canto founder Stefan Schmidt. The debut album All My Kingdoms was released on February 22, 2013 via Napalm Records . Jörg Michael is the drummer on this album . The project is also supported by Sebastian Scharf (guitar) and David Vogt ( bass ). Stefan Schmidt himself plays a seven-string guitar and did the vocals. Hacky Hackman and Olaf Senkbeil, who already worked with Blind Guardian , were responsible for the choir arrangements. The cover artwork comes from the fantasy artist Kerem Beyit .
Music genre
Heavatar uses famous classical motifs in her songs, including those of Johann Sebastian Bach , Beethoven and Paganini, and embeds them in power metal compositions.
