Hector Delobbe

Hector Delobbe (* 1861 ; † 1931 ) was a Belgian officer, most recently a lieutenant general . Delobbe served as chief of staff at the headquarters of the Belgian army. He was also a permanent member of the International Armistice Commission in Spa after the First World War .

On July 9, 1918, he was awarded the Army Distinguished Service Medal by the US Congress .

In the Belgian capital, Brussels, there is a commemorative plaque for H. Delobbe in the Chaussée d'Ixelles.
