Hedin is an impact crater on the westernmost edge of the front of the moon , so, if at all, it is only visible from earth in a strongly distorted manner. It is located on the western edge of the Oceanus Procellarum , south of the Olbers crater . The large but very shallow crater is very badly eroded and largely leveled.
