Hedwig Caspari

Hedwig Caspari (born as Hedwig Joseph May 1, 1882 in Berlin ; died August 22, 1922 there ) was a German writer of literary expressionism .

Life

From 1918 onwards, Hedwig Caspari published poems in the expressionist magazines Die Schöne Rarität , Saturn and Der Friede , in which she moved thematically in the world of the Old Testament. A first volume of poetry was published in 1919 and a dramatic work in 1920. She died of suicide in 1922, leaving behind two unpublished works ( Das Blut, a plot in 3 events and INRI ).
