Hedwig Rumbles
Hedwig Elisabeth Rumpelt (born May 31, 1861 in Breslau ; † February 26, 1937 in Dresden ) was a German painter whose focus was on architectural painting and urban landscapes.
Life
Hedwig Rumpelt was born in Breslau as the daughter of a businessman. After attending a private school, she began studying painting in Munich. Here she was trained by Ludwig Dill , Walther Firle , Carl von Marr and Friedrich Fehr . In 1906 she went to Dresden and painted views of the city.
