The Nuremberg artist lexicon with the subtitle visual artists , artisans , scholars , collectors , cultural workers and patrons from the 12th to the middle of the 20th century is a biographical reference work on the art of the city of Nuremberg .

The lexicon edited by Manfred H. Grieb and written by him with the assistance of numerous specialist scholars was published in 2007 in four volumes in a slipcase by KG Saur Verlag . At the same time, the work was published in PDF format by Walter de Gruyter , to which KG Saur Verlag has been a part since 2006. About the general artist lexicon .
