Singen vom Hohentwiel Clinic

The Hegau-Bodensee-Klinikum (HBK) is an amalgamation of the hospitals in Singen , Engen , Radolfzell and Stühlingen with 676 beds in southwest Germany. Central supply services are offered at HBK Singen, while the other three houses ensure basic and standard care for the local population.

history

The Singen Municipal Hospital was converted into the Hegau-Klinikum GmbH in 1995. In 1998 there was a merger with the Engen Hospital and the senior citizens' and nursing home there . In 1999, the Hegau-Jugendwerk GmbH, a neurological specialist hospital and rehabilitation center with 202 beds for children, adolescents and young adults in Gailingen am Hochrhein, joined the corporate group. The Hochrheinklinik Bad Säckingen became a subsidiary in 2003. It is an acute and rehabilitation facility for vascular diseases and diabetology . The merger with the Radolfzell Hospital brought about a name change. The company became Hegau-Bodensee-Kliniken GmbH .

In 2004, the name was changed to Hegau-Bodensee-Hochrhein-Kliniken GmbH , as the Loreto Hospital in Stühlingen and the Bad Säckingen Hospital joined. The Friedrichsheim retirement pension in Gailingen was also added. In 2005 a new subsidiary was part of the health network, the Sankt Marien Rehabilitation Clinic in Bad Bellingen , which deals with orthopedic and internal diseases. The Hegau-Bodensee-Klinikum with the locations Singen, Engen, Radolfzell and Stühlingen was founded. All the facilities together formed the HBH-Kliniken health network .

In 2012 the Hochrhein-Eggberg-Klinik and the hospital in Bad Säckingen as well as the St. Marien Rehabilitation Clinic left the HBH-Kliniken health network. Economic reasons required the district-wide merger with the Konstanz Clinic and the Vincentius Hospital Konstanz . For this purpose, the holding Gesundheitsverbund Landkreis Konstanz gGmbH was founded in December 2012 . The sponsors are the district of Constance (52%), the non-profit hospital operating company Hegau-Bodensee-Klinikum mbH (24%) and the non-profit hospital operating company Konstanz mbH (24%). The headquarters of the holding are in Singen. The chairman of the supervisory board is the Constance District Administrator Zeno Danner .
