A pagan temple in the narrower sense is a popular name for a temple district or a temple complex, which pre-Christian peoples ( Celts , Romans or Germanic peoples ) created. They mostly come from the last pre-Christian or first post-Christian centuries.
In a broader sense, a pagan temple is any temple of a pagan religion.
