Life and work

Heidi Schäfer-Frischmann has been working in nursing since she was 17. On October 1, 1968, she became a member of the Luisen-Cecili Sisterhood of the German Red Cross , and in April 1969 began her nursing training. After completing her training, she was an operating room nurse in the DRK hospital Jungfernheide in Berlin, until 1976 in the DRK hospital Mark Brandenburg. She worked as a school assistant and clinical teaching nurse at the School for Nursing of the DRK Sisterhood in Berlin from 1977.
