Heidi Schäfer-Frischmann (born March 6, 1951 in Berlin ) is a German manager and former superior .

Life and work

Heidi Schäfer-Frischmann has been working in nursing since she was 17. On October 1, 1968, she became a member of the Luisen-Cecili Sisterhood of the German Red Cross , and in April 1969 began her nursing training. After completing her training, she was an operating room nurse in the DRK hospital Jungfernheide in Berlin, until 1976 in the DRK hospital Mark Brandenburg. She worked as a school assistant and clinical teaching nurse at the School for Nursing of the DRK Sisterhood in Berlin from 1977. A short time later, she completed further training at the sister university of the Diakonie, whereby she qualified for management tasks in nursing. From April 1979 she taught at the school for nursing of the DRK Sisterhood in Berlin and then took over the post of a department nurse in the DRK hospital in Mark Brandenburg for a few months. Heidi Schäfer-Frischmann was then from October 1980 to September 1986 head of nursing for the DRK hospital in Jungfernheide.

In April 1986 she was appointed managing director of "DRK Krankenhaus GmbH I", and six years later also of "GmbH II", which had been founded for the newly acquired clinic in Köpenick. Schäfer-Frischmann has been on the board of the DRK Sisterhood in Berlin since 1979, ten years later they elected the members as second deputy chair.
