Heidrun Förster

Heidrun Förster (* 1951 in Pansfelde ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1994 to 1998 and from 2002 to 2004 she was a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament .

Life

In addition to graduating from high school, Förster trained as a fitter, which she completed in 1970. She then studied at the TU Karl-Marx-Stadt and graduated in 1974 as a graduate engineer for ergonomics and work design. She then worked as a work engineer at the Oberspree cable works (KWO Berlin) until 1983 . From 1984 to 1996 she held a managerial position at the Konsum department store (later Horten ) in Frankfurt (Oder) , and since 1990 chairwoman of the works council. From 2000 to 2015 she worked as a public relations employee at the Leibniz Institute for Innovative Microelectronics (IHP) in Frankfurt (Oder). Förster is married and has two children.

From 1993 to 2012 Förster was a member of the city council of Frankfurt (Oder). In February 1994 she moved into the Brandenburg State Parliament as a replacement for the Christian Gilde who had left the country. In the state elections in the same year, she again succeeded in entering the state parliament, to which she belonged until the end of the legislative period, via the state list of the SPD. During this time she was a member of the Committee on Labor, Social Affairs, Health and Women and the Committee on Science, Research and Culture. In October 2002 she became a member of the state parliament again when she replaced Jörg Vogelsänger . Until 2004 she was a member of the Committee on Education, Youth and Sport and again on the Committee on Science, Research and Culture. In addition, Förster was a member of the 10th and 11th Federal Assemblies . From 1990 to 2000 she was a member of the state executive committee of the SPD-Brandenburg, from 1992 deputy state chairwoman and a member of the federal executive committee of the working group for employee issues in the SPD (Afa).
