Heidrun Kaupen-Haas
Heidrun Kaupen-Haas (* 1937 in Offenburg ) is a German medical sociologist .
Kaupen-Haas became a professor at the Medical Sociological Institute of the University of Hamburg in 1975 and became its director. With Wilfried Karmaus, “she initiated research into rheumatic diseases caused by wear and tear at the end of the 1970s . In the 1980s she developed ... the research focus on social and population policy in historical and international comparison. "
In her writings she deals with Nazi and current scientific racism .
