Heidrun Sedlacik

Heidrun Sedlacik (born April 27, 1952 in Merseburg ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ) and was a member of the Thuringian state parliament from 1999 to 2014 .

From 1958 to 1968 she attended the general education secondary school in Muenchen (Geiseltal) . From 1969 to 1971 she completed vocational training in Halle with a high school diploma as a cattle breeder. In Leipzig she completed her studies (1971–1975) as a qualified agricultural engineer. Afterwards she was employed in farms in the Zeulenroda district . From 1986 to 1988 she worked in the SED district leadership in Zeulenroda. After the fall of the Berlin Wall, Sedlacik went through retraining and ABM (tiler, social worker, environmental consultant).

From 1996 to 2004 she was honorary mayor of Hohenleuben . In 1999 she became a member of the Thuringian State Parliament, to which she belonged for three terms. To state election in 2014 it has not raced for more.

Heidrun Sedlacik is married and has three children.
