Heike Kugler

Heike Kugler (born May 18, 1962 in Marpingen ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ).

Life and politics

Heike Kugler is a trained teacher for elementary and secondary schools and worked as an exempted district staff councilor. She is married and has two kids.

In her party, Heike Kugler is a board member in the Nohfelden local association and chairwoman of the St. Wendel district association. Since the state elections in Saarland in 2009 , she was a member of the Saarland state parliament and social policy specialist and religious policy spokeswoman for her group . She sat in parliament as chairman of the submission committee and as a simple member of the committee for education, culture and the media, the committee for justice, constitutional and legal questions as well as the electoral examination and the state youth welfare committee. In the state elections in Saarland in 2017 , she missed re-entry into the state parliament.
