Heiko Hell

Heiko Hell (born May 5, 1980 in Pinneberg ) is a former German competitive athlete in the swimming division .

Life

Hell grew up in Seester , Schleswig-Holstein , where his parents ran a veterinary clinic, and now lives there again with his family. He began his sporting career at Elmshorn MTV, later he switched to the Swim-Team Elmshorn and from 2003 to SGS Hamburg . Hell was a multiple German champion and took part in both the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

In 2003 he received the sports badge of the state of Schleswig-Holstein . In 2005 Hell announced that he would like to devote more time to studying dentistry in Kiel and to his family. Hell is married and has two children.
