Heiko Melzer

Heiko Melzer (born February 25, 1976 in Berlin ) is a Berlin politician ( CDU ). He is a member of the Berlin House of Representatives and there Parliamentary Managing Director of the CDU parliamentary group.

Life

Heiko Melzer attended the Klosterfeld elementary school from 1982 to 1988 and the Kant grammar school from 1988 to 1995. Between 1996 and 1998 he trained as a bank clerk. He then worked as a banker from 1998 to 2002 and combined this with a part-time course in business administration at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences , which he completed in 2002 with a degree in business administration. From 2002 to 2011 he was a sales representative for an Internet service company. Melzer has been Parliamentary Managing Director of the CDU parliamentary group in Berlin since 2011.

Heiko Melzer joined the CDU in 1996. From 1996 he was active at the Schüler Union in Spandau and one year later he was the deputy state chairman of the Schüler Union. From 1996 to 1999 he was a board member of the Junge Union in Spandau and since 1999 chairman of the CDU in Spandau West. From 2003 he took over the post of press spokesman for the CDU Spandau and two years later became deputy chairman. Heiko Melzer is currently deputy chairman of the CDU Spandau and chairman of the CDU local association Spandau West, which includes the districts of Staaken and Falkenhagener Feld.

Melzer has been a member of the Berlin House of Representatives since October 2006. In parliament he is a member of the main committee and the property committee and there he is the finance and property policy spokesman for the Berlin CDU parliamentary group. He also represents his parliamentary group in the Council of Elders in the Berlin House of Representatives. Since 2011 he has been Parliamentary Managing Director of the CDU parliamentary group.
