Heiko Tiemann

Heiko Tiemann (* 1968 in Bad Oeynhausen ) is a German photographer .

Life

He studied at the University of Essen , the London College of Printing London and the Royal College of Art in London . Tiemann lives in Düsseldorf and London.

Tiemann received a Reinhart Wolf Award in 1996 and 1997 as well as various scholarships. At the John Kobal Photographic Portrait Award 1999 he received a 1st prize.

Tiemann works in thematic cycles and exhibits them in a space-related hanging. These often large-format works are to be viewed both as autonomous works of art and in relation to one another.
