The Heilandskirche is an Evangelical Lutheran church of the Bavarian regional church in Unterhaching .

history

The first Protestant church services in Unterhaching took place in the old school from 1927. On August 1, 1937, the foundation stone of today's Heilandskirche was laid, which was consecrated on May 15, 1938. In 1974 the young daughter congregation Taufkirchen was raised to an independent church congregation and separated from the jurisdiction of the Heilandskirche. In 2019, the newly built community center in the immediate vicinity of the church was inaugurated.

Building description

The single-nave building has small rounded windows and a massive flat wooden ceiling inside. In the east there is a rectangular chancel, the altar wall of which is adorned with a large wooden cross. At the side of the choir is the church tower, which is crowned by a pointed hood and has a tower clock to the side of the sound openings. The nave itself is covered by a gable roof.

organ

The organ of the Heilandskirche was built in 1986 by the company Freiburger Orgelbau Hartwig and Tilmann Späth and is located on the side of the gallery in the parapet. The seitspielige instrument has fully mechanical grinding shop and 18 register on two manuals and pedal . The disposition is as follows:
