The Heilig-Geist-Spital in Mindelheim , the district town of the Upper Swabian district of Unterallgäu in Bavaria , was built around 1678 and is a former hospital under monument protection .

history

The Heilig-Geist-Spital was founded in 1426 by the brothers Ulrich and Ludwig von Teck .

description

The three- story hipped roof building with roof turrets has nine window axes on the street side. The entrance is made up of three arched portals with raised work . There are two wing structures on the rear side. In the main building, the chapel has been preserved with 19th century furnishings . Between 1829 and 1832 the facade was redesigned by Johann Michael Voit .
