The patronage is celebrated on the Exaltation of the Cross .

history

When Catholic families came to Eysölden after the Second World War, they expressed the desire for their own place of worship, which was soon built and consecrated in March 1965 by Bishop Joseph Schröffer . In November 2014, the diocese discussed with the faithful about closing the church. It would be the first profanation in the Eichstätt diocese after the Napoleonic period. A closure was refused and the church was renovated with a lot of personal contribution.
