The Roth-Schwabach deanery is a deanery of the Roman Catholic Church in the Eichstätt diocese . Around 61,987 Catholics live in the deanery on around 935 km². In terms of territory, the deanery includes the Middle Franconian district of Roth , the city of Schwabach and the parts of the Middle Franconian district of Fürth that belong to the Eichstätt diocese . It was founded on June 12, 2011 from the former dean's offices in Hilpoltstein and Schwabach. First dean was Domkapitular Alois Ehrl. His successor is Matthäus Ottenwälder. There are 28 parishes in the Roth-Schwabach deanery. On Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017, the deanery was organized in ten pastoral rooms.
