The Habsberg deanery is a deanery of the Roman Catholic Church in the diocese of Eichstätt . Around 23,000 Catholics live in the deanery on around 828 km². Territorially, the deanery covers the eastern part of the Neumarkt district . On June 12, 2011, it was founded by the deans of Kast and Velburg. The first dean is Elmar Spötle. 25 parishes belong to the Habsberg deanery, which are organized in four parish associations.
