Darshofen is a district of Parsberg in the Upper Palatinate district of Neumarkt in Upper Palatinate , Bavaria . Darshofen is characterized by agriculture. There are three large farms in the village.
history
The name Darshofen originated from the name Tarschoss from the year 912 AD. Tareshoven, Tarshofen developed from this name and was originally a place belonging to the farms of a man named Tar or Tari. Later the current place name Darshofen developed from it.
In 1283 Darshofen was owned by Dietrich von Parsberg, who bought the village and the village court from the Counts of Lupburg . Then his daughter Adelheid married Count Albrecht von Lupburg. In 1353 Jörg Auer von Adelburg asked to contest the purchase, but he was rejected in court because Dietrich von Parsberg was able to submit his fishing rights in the Frauenbach (from which the name of the brook "Frauenbacherl" came) by letter and the seal.
Until 1420 the village property was in the hands of the citizen husband Ulrich and Adelheid Ruprecht von Neumarkt. They then sold this property to Christoph von Parsberg. In 1480, the brothers Leonhard and Albrecht Stiegler sold the grain valid to the parish of Parsberg.
In 1719 the parish church of All Saints was consecrated. In 1730 the reign of Parsberg and thus Darshofen fell to Bishop Friedrich Carl von Schönborn . In 1792 Darshofen fell with the dominion of Parsberg by purchase to Elector Karl Theodor
On July 1, 1971, Darshofen was incorporated into the city of Parsberg.
