Haid is a hamlet and part of the town of Parsberg in the Neumarkt district in the Upper Palatinate .

Haid is located around 4.5 km northeast of the center of Parsberg. The nearest larger district of Parsberg is the village of Hörmannsdorf which is 1.5 km northeast of the hamlet. Haid has seven residents.

history

The Bavarian original cadastre shows Haid in the 1810s as a hamlet with three hearths, five ponds and a well. Haid is still dominated by agriculture today. The ponds were filled in and leveled. There are also some farm buildings and a small chapel in the center of the village.
