The Ingolstadt deanery is an administrative unit of the Roman Catholic Church in the Eichstätt diocese . In Dean's Office about 60,000 Catholics live about 120 square kilometers. Territorially, the deanery includes the part of Ingolstadt belonging to the diocese of Eichstätt and some neighboring communities. It was established on June 12, 2011. The first dean is Bernhard Oswald. 20 parishes belong to the dean's office in Ingolstadt. On Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017, the deanery was organized in thirteen pastoral rooms.
