Until the church is planted
Hepberg belonged to the Munich Rent Office and to the Vohburg Regional Court of the Electorate of Bavaria . The barons Müller von Gnadenegg owned the open Hofmark , which had existed since the 15th century . In the course of the administrative reforms in the Kingdom of Bavaria , today's municipality was created with the municipal edict of 1818 .
During the regional reform in Bavaria , the municipality of Hepberg was to be incorporated into Lenting. In a vote on December 28, 1971, however, the population of Hepberg decided against incorporation with 77.1%. As a result, the Lenting administrative community was founded in 1978 with the communities of Hepberg, Lenting, Stammham and Wettstetten.
