Career

societies

Serkan Atak was born in Kösching as the son of Turks from Ankara and at the age of five he began playing football for FC Hepberg in his hometown. He later moved to the youth department of MTV Ingolstadt , before joining the youth department of FC Bayern Munich at the age of thirteen . There he was German champion with the B-youth in 2001 and a year later in the 2001/02 season German champion with the A-youth . From summer 2003 Atak was then in the squad of the amateur team and played in the Regionalliga Süd . In the first 2003/04 season he was champion of the Regionalliga Süd there , but was not allowed to be promoted because no second teams are allowed to play in the 2nd Bundesliga . After another year in the regional league, Atak moved to Turkey for the first division club Gaziantepspor due to lack of prospects . After a six-month loan at the beginning of 2006 to city rivals Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor in the 2nd division , Atak was transferred to the second division Hacettepe SK , the then Gençlerbirliği OFTAŞ, during the summer break . There he stayed for four years and celebrated promotion to the Süper Lig in 2007 , but also suffered relegation in 2009. In the 2010/11 season he ran for Çaykur Rizespor , was fourth in the second division and qualified with the team for the play-off games , but was eliminated in the semifinals against the later promoted Orduspor after a 4-0 away defeat and a 3: 3 at home. In the summer of 2011 he moved to league rivals Boluspor , where his contract was terminated by mutual agreement after just one month. In September he found a new club in league competitor Kayseri Erciyesspor . For him he gave his league debut on September 10, 2011 (1st matchday) in a 1-1 draw in the away game against Bucaspor ; he scored his first league goal for this club on November 12, 2011 (10th matchday) in the 2: 3 defeat in the home game against Akhisar Belediyespor with the connection goal to 2: 3 in the 84th minute.

Atak moved as a loan player for the second half of the 2013/14 season to the second division team Ankaraspor . At the end of the season he broke his contract with Ankaraspor again and instead switched to league rivals Antalyaspor , for whom he made his debut on August 31, 2014 (1st matchday) in a 1-1 draw in the away game against Karşıyaka SK .

After ten championship appearances for Antalyaspor Atak moved for the second half of the 2014/15 season to league rivals Denizlispor , for whom he made his debut on February 15, 2015 (20th matchday) in the 1: 2 defeat at home against Altınordu Izmir . During the current 2016/17 season he moved to third division club Bugsaşspor , for whom he made his debut on April 9, 2017 (31st match day) in a 1-1 draw in the away game against Kayseri Erciyesspor from the 85th minute. He played his last game of the season on April 29, 2017 (34th matchday) in the 0-2 defeat in the home game against Kırklarelispor , before he was substituted in the 73rd minute.

National team

Serkan Atak decided early on for a career in the Turkish national teams. From the U-17 he went through all national teams, but was never called to the senior national team. In the summer of 2005 he took part with the Olympic team at the Mediterranean Games in Almería , Spain . There he reached the final with the Olympic team against hosts Spain , which was lost 1-0.
