Haunstetter Forest
The Haunstetter Forest is a community-free area in the Upper Bavarian district of Eichstätt in Bavaria .

The 5.42 km² state forest is located in the north of the Eichstätt district .
It is part of the Altmühltal Nature Park and the conservation area, protected zone in the Natural Park Altmühltal . Small parts on the eastern edge belong to the fauna-flora-habitat area Mittleres Altmühltal with Wellheimer dry valley and Schambachtal .

Rider hole
On the north slope of the 574 meters high Sulzbuck ( 49 ° 1 '44.65 " N , 11 ° 25' 12.54" O ) which is located Karsthöhle tab hole . It is also called Reitzerloch and is listed in the cave cadastre Fränkische Alb (HFA) with the cadastral number K24. Due to the prehistoric and early historical finds, the area of the shaft cave is designated as a ground monument (D-1-6934-0013) by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Preservation .
