Pilgrimage Church of the Virgin Mary

Ecclesiastically, Trautmannshofen has been a parish in the Habsberg deanery since 1937 . Previously it was a branch of Lauterhofen, in 1719 it was re- parish to Litzlohe . In 1885 it received state approval and in 1887 episcopal approval and thus became a branch with the places Buschhof, Graben, Hartenhof, Mittersberg and Seglitzenhöhe from the Lauterhofen community. In 1878 it received Eispertshofen and Schneemühle and in 1883 Ammelsdorf and Langenmühle from the Dietkirchen parish . Today these places belong to the municipality of Pilsach . In 1947 Trautmannshofen became a parish.

The Catholic Expositur and pilgrimage church of Mariä Namen is a pilaster church with a choir tower . It was built in 1655/1666 with the inclusion of the Gothic tower in the form of a fortified church. From 1686 to 1689 a renovation took place and in 1691 the church was consecrated . The frescoes and stucco are from 1760.

The first church with a statue of Mary at this point is attested as early as 1382. In 1433 the church was burned down by the Hussites, but the statue of Mary remained intact. In 1504 the church burned down again in the Landshut War of Succession .

Every year, pilgrimages on foot come from various places to the "Unharmed Mother", such as Allersberg, 70 km away .

organ

The church has an organ by Johann Baptist Funtsch from 1741. In 1979 it was restored by Mathis & Söhne Orgelbau (Näfels). The organ has a manual , a pedal and twelve stops . It has slide chests and a mechanical play and stop action .
