Ecclesiastically, Muttenshofen belongs to the Lauterhofen parish in the Habsberg deanery .

On May 1, 1978, Gebertshofen was incorporated into Lauterhofen with Landnerhof , Muttenshofen, Ramertshofen , Reitelshofen and Ruppertslohe . The former district of Nonnhof was incorporated into Alfeld on July 1, 1972 . Architectural monuments are a barn from 1911 and a Lady Chapel with a bell ridge from the middle of the 18th century.
