On May 1, 1978, Engelsberg was incorporated into Lauterhofen with Nattershofen (town hall), Finsterhaid , Hillohe , Holzheim , Mantlach and Thürsnacht . The only architectural monument is a late medieval stone cross, which was probably erected in 1437.
