Reitelshofen is a district of the Lauterhofen market . It is a hamlet with eight houses.

Ecclesiastically Reitelshofen belongs to the parish Lauterhofen in the Habsberg deanery .

On May 1, 1978, Gebertshofen was incorporated into Lauterhofen with Landnerhof , Muttenshofen , Ramertshofen , Reitelshofen and Ruppertslohe . The former district of Nonnhof was incorporated into Alfeld on July 1, 1972 . The only architectural monument is a former schoolhouse.
